Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)

8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily

The course will consist of identifying types of mold and mold spores, how to don and doff proper protection equipment and proper procedures to remove and dispose of contaminated materials. By the end of the four days, technicians will have all the necessary information and training to deal with any type of microbial remediation in the field.

The IICRC Certified Instructor Destry Ransdell will teach the course. In addition to the AMRT class, Ransdell also teaches the WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) and a variety of continuing education courses. He is a Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Textile Cleaner and an Applied Microbial Remediation Specialist (AMRS). Ransdell also serves as the Vice-Chair for the AMRT committee for the IICRC.

Cost: $995.00 per person + $150 exam fee

The cost of the AMRT certification course includes breakfast and lunch all four days, manuals, and instructor fees. Payment must be received to reserve your seat for the class. Cancellations prior to 30 days from the class start date are eligible for refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the class start date will receive credit toward a future class.

The AMRT Test will be available at the conclusion of the class. Those taking the test will need to bring $150.00 by way of Credit Card or Check made payable to “IICRC”.

Carpet Cleaning Technician

The Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the five methods commonly used in carpet cleaning.

IICRC Instructor Craig Jasper will teach the CCT Class. Craig Jasper is the Executive Director of the Cleaning and Restoration Institute and has been in the carpet cleaning industry for over 35 years as a cleaner and as an educator. During that time he has always tried to help any cleaner that has asked. It’s probably no exaggeration that he has spoken with and helped thousands of cleaners over the years. Among his many qualifications, Craig is an IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Water Restorer.

Cost:

$279/student + $65 Exam Fee

The cost for the CCT Certification Class is $279.00 per person. This includes refreshments and lunch, manuals, and instructor fees. Payment must be received to reserve your seat for the class and is nonrefundable.  The CCT Test will be available upon conclusion of the class. Xactimate Hands On Estimating (Estimating 283)

Acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools in one of the only estimating programs in the world that is taught during a live water loss. Students will estimate the project in real time as the work is completed. This three-day Intermediate Estimating course is taught by an Xactimate Affiliate Trainer (XAT) who is actively working in the restoration field. Participants will learn how to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable hands-on training using real-world data while a flood is being responded to live in a training environment.
